That means whatever is in your aquifer, including iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, nitrates, bacteria, and heavy minerals, comes straight to your taps. There is no one-size well treatment system. We test for iron, manganese, hardness, pH, sulfur, nitrates, total coliform bacteria, and TDS.
Based on your test results, we configure the appropriate treatment train. That might include a sediment pre-filter, an iron and manganese filter, a pH neutralizer, a softener, a UV purification system for bacteria, or an RO system for drinking water. All equipment is NSF-certified and every installation is completed by a licensed plumber.

Bacteria and nitrate options
If your well tests positive for bacteria, we add UV purification. High nitrate levels, especially a concern for infants, are addressed with an RO system for drinking water.

Common signs include orange or rust staining on fixtures and laundry (iron), a sulfur or rotten-egg smell (hydrogen sulfide), hard scale on faucets and appliances (mineral hardness), or cloudy water (sediment or bacteria). The only way to know for certain is a comprehensive water test. Our test is free and covers the full panel.
The EPA recommends annual testing for bacteria, nitrates, and any local contaminants of concern. We recommend testing whenever you notice a change in taste, odor, or appearance, and any time there's flooding near your well.
It depends entirely on your individual well and aquifer. Many rural wells in Douglas, Sarpy, Washington, and Saunders counties show high iron, hardness, or nitrates. Some test clean. The only way to know is to test. We make that free and easy.
