System
Drinking water that's genuinely clean.
Under-sink reverse osmosis removes up to 99% of dissolved contaminants, including lead, nitrates, PFAS, and chlorine, from your kitchen tap and refrigerator line.
Reverse osmosis drinking water for your home.
Reverse osmosis forces water through a semi-permeable membrane with pores small enough to reject dissolved salts, heavy metals, nitrates, PFAS compounds, and most other contaminants. An under-sink RO system installed at the kitchen sink gives you a dedicated filtered tap, and with an added line, cleaner ice from the refrigerator.
Local source water passes EPA regulatory standards, but standards are minimums, not ideals. Lead can enter from older service lines or household plumbing. Nitrates are a concern for well households and areas near agricultural activity. PFAS compounds are increasingly detected in water supplies nationally. An RO membrane addresses all of these in a way that a carbon filter alone cannot. NSF/ANSI 58 certification means the membrane and system components have been independently tested and verified for contaminant reduction claims.
Pure Water Co installs under-sink RO systems for homeowners in Omaha, Fremont, and across the metro. Schedule your free water test to find out what's actually in your water before choosing a system. Every install is completed by a licensed plumber.
What's included
What you get.
Free in-home water test
We test for TDS, hardness, nitrates, lead, and other parameters at your tap before recommending an RO configuration.
NSF/ANSI 58-certified system
Our RO systems are independently certified to reduce the contaminants we claim. Not all membranes perform equally, and certification is the verification.
Under-sink installation by a licensed plumber
The system installs under your kitchen sink with a dedicated filtered-water tap. Refrigerator line connection available on request.
Pre-filter and post-filter stages
RO systems include pre-filtration to protect the membrane from sediment and chlorine, and a post-carbon polishing stage to refine taste.
Storage tank and air gap
Includes a pressurized storage tank so filtered water is ready on demand, and a proper air gap drain connection for code compliance.
How we do it
The Pure Water Co way.
Free water test
We test at your kitchen tap for TDS, nitrates, hardness, lead, and other relevant parameters so we can choose the right membrane and pre-filtration.
System selection
Based on your water quality and whether you want a refrigerator line or a remineralization stage, we configure the right RO system.
Under-sink install by a licensed plumber
Install takes two to three hours. We connect to the cold water supply, run the drain line, mount the dedicated tap, and optionally connect the refrigerator.
Confirmation test
We measure TDS before and after at your new RO tap to confirm the membrane is rejecting dissolved solids, then walk you through filter change intervals.

FAQ
Reverse osmosis drinking water questions.
A properly functioning RO membrane removes up to 99% of dissolved contaminants including lead, nitrates, fluoride, arsenic, PFAS compounds, dissolved salts, and most heavy metals. Pre-filter stages also remove sediment, chlorine, and chloramines that would otherwise degrade the membrane.
RO water is safe and used widely in hospitals and laboratories. The system does remove both harmful contaminants and naturally occurring minerals. If you prefer to reintroduce minerals for taste, we can add a remineralization post-filter stage.
Traditional RO systems reject some water as concentrate drain water. Modern high-efficiency systems recover significantly more. We'll discuss the specific ratio for the system we recommend during the water test appointment.
Yes. We can run a line from the RO storage tank to your refrigerator during the same installation visit.
Pre-filters typically need replacement every 6 to 12 months, the RO membrane every 2 to 3 years, and post-carbon every 12 months. We'll give you a schedule based on your specific water quality.
