Seasonal water care
Local water shifts. Your system should keep up.
Hard water, spring runoff, summer demand, fall recharge: water quality changes with the seasons. We make sure your treatment system stays ahead of it.
Four seasons
What local water does through the year.
Most water problems aren't random. They follow a seasonal pattern. Knowing which season creates which problem helps you stay ahead instead of playing catch-up.
Winter: scale & heating costs
Hard water forms scale fastest inside a water heater working overtime in the cold. A softener or salt-free conditioner prevents the buildup that quietly costs you on your energy bill and shortens the heater's life.
Spring: runoff & well recharge
Snowmelt and spring rains push nitrates, sediment, and surface bacteria into well aquifers across the metro. Spring is the right time to test well water and inspect UV and sediment pre-filters before summer demand peaks.
Summer: demand & pressure
Irrigation, extra laundry, and guests put the highest load on your filtration system all year. Systems due for filter changes or salt refills hit their limits in August. A Pure Care plan keeps maintenance on schedule automatically.
Fall: annual water test
After a dry summer, mineral concentrations in well water often climb. Fall is the ideal time for an annual in-home water test, before winter scaling picks back up, to confirm your system is still dialed in.
Year-round coverage
Pure Care keeps maintenance on schedule.
The biggest seasonal threat to a water treatment system isn't the chemistry. It's the maintenance that slips. A sediment filter loaded from spring runoff doesn't get better on its own. A UV bulb nearing the end of its annual life doesn't announce itself before it stops disinfecting. Salt running low doesn't send a text.
Pure Care is Pure Water Co's maintenance plan. It covers RO filter changes, salt deliveries, UV bulb replacements, and priority scheduling, so the seasonal maintenance that protects your system actually happens, every year, without you having to remember. It comes with every qualifying install.
